  • Kristi White, DPT
    Kristi White, DPT
    Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Kristi’s aspiration to become a Physical Therapist came after observing an extremely personal lymphedema treatment given by a very enthusiastic and passionate physical therapist. Her knowledge and abilities helped a patient, who initially could not walk into the facility due to severe swelling, rise above her condition, walking up and down the hospital hallways following her treatment. At this very moment, “my life path had changed, from the business world, full–steam into the medical profession of Physical Therapy”, Dr. Kristi says.

Dr. Kristi received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University in 2010. She has been practicing with a focus on Orthopedics and Sports Rehabilitative medicine. Intervention emphasis consists of evidence-based practice, integrating various methodologies with a “hands-on” approach to care. In addition to managing orthopedic conditions, she also treats various other neuromusculoskeletal complexes in the areas ranging from maternity to pediatrics and geriatrics. She has an affiliation with Meridian Hospital System providing post-surgical aftercare for joint replacements in addition to other medical complexities. Dr. Kristi has also provided services on tour for the music/performance industry. Dr. Kristi’s drive, love, and passion for Physical Therapy are evident as she strives to provide each and every patient with a seamless continuum of excellence in care, necessary for the best possible recovery.

When not practicing her passion, Dr. Kristi enjoys traveling the world with her husband and spending quality time with her three children. She is also an avid enthusiast of snowboarding, surfing, and mountain biking.

    Stephanie Strohmenger, DPT
    Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Stephanie Strohmenger is a licensed Physical Therapist who received her undergraduate and Doctorate degrees from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, graduating in 2009 with Cum Laude Honors and passing the New Jersey Physical Therapy Board Examination soon after graduation. In 2009, Dr. Stephanie began working at JFK Medical Center in the inpatient rehabilitation department.

This is where her neurologic and orthopedic passion began, working with patients that were post-stroke, heart surgeries, amputations, Parkinson’s Disease, post-surgical care, neuropathy, and COPD. Dr. Stephanie learned how to facilitate mobility using manual skills, therapeutic exercises and activities, and neuro re-education. In 2011, she transferred to the Outpatient JFK Medical Center branch, working with patients with orthopedic and neurologic conditions/injuries, using aquatic therapy to enhance their progress toward their goals. Dr. Stephanie received her certification in LSVT BIG PROGRAM, helping those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. This program is based on the principle that the brain can learn and change (neuroplasticity) using an exercise treatment program.

Dr. Stephanie gave lectures to the neighborhood surrounding JFK Medical Center for patient awareness regarding LSVT. It was in this department, Dr. Stephanie also became involved in balance and vestibular disorders, including BPPV and vestibular hypofunction. In 2013, Dr. Stephanie returned back to Inpatient Rehabilitation with her new skills and knowledge about balance, posture, orthopedic conditions, and Parkinson’s Disease.

In 2015, Dr. Stephanie had a beautiful son named Mark, and in 2020 a daughter named Lily. She transferred closer to her home in Tinton Falls, to a new setting, Sub-Acute Rehabilitation. After working 3 years in sub-acute, Dr. Stephanie realized that she missed outpatient rehab and wanted to come back to a setting where she could use more of her manual and neuro re-education skills.

When Dr. Stephanie is not working, she enjoys spending time outside with her family and friends, going to a concert, reading a book, or spending time on the beach. She is very involved in JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and fundraises each year for the JDRF One Walk at Avon Beach.
